I wish i still had my Spirograph set. It was a high point to my younger years. Alas it has been misplaced in the interim. Misplaced, really meaning that it’s hidden in the deep dark depths of my parents ridiculous attic + only retrievable after a month long expedition to which there are no guarantees of safety or ultimately, a return.
But since i have a lot of time these days, perhaps i will set about creating an improvised kit.
Expect numerous accounts of botched attempts at recreating childhood goodness by implementing perforated milk carton tops and the likes.

It would seem that I am just promoting things for people to go have a gander at.
I dont mean to be pushy..but GO have a wander around the newly refurbished Wasps Studios! They’re open all weekend with some festivities happening this evening and all sorts of talks and bits and bobs over the two days.
++ the reason I’m do darn excited about this is, this one here has a little something on show in the invited artists exhibition. She’s swell.

A disused print from a series i made up for my degree show hand in.
Images taken as part of a performance, representational meaning project: denoting action//reaction sequences out in the world around us by breaking them down into basic forms and positioning them in real situations to emphasis their occurrence.
My favourite set of photos from the whole project were taken in the skate park. Might have had something to do with the feeling of sliding into the bowl in the wee early hours as the sun came up and no one was around, my dad and i shivering with the morning frost that you miss when in bed and with pink feeble hands carting these stupid over sized structures around from spot to spot trying to get the ‘perfect shot’. They just dont sit well enough with the others taken in the project.
